While the Single Ladies singer stepped out in a daring short style, she covered her baby bump with a shopping bag following a lunch with her sister Solange at the Brooklyn, New York eatery, Buttermilk Channel.
Although she didn't seem comfortable showing off her tummy, she certainly wasn't shy about parading her mile-long legs. Staying true to her fashionable pregnancy style, Beyonce wore a colourful, printed thigh-high mini-dress with a chunky statement necklace. She added a long black blazer to top her ensemble and a pair of glamorous rock star sunglasses.
The mother-to-be has lately been keen to show off her bump after being at the centre of claims that she wore a fake bump for a television appearance, earlier this month.
Her representatives quickly dismissed the reports as 'stupid, ridiculous and false' - but not before footage of her sporting an apparent 'squished' bump on Australian TV became a YouTube hit. Viewers noted how at one point the cameras appeared to show Beyoncé's bump being squashed as she sits down.
U.S. blog Media Takeout was the first to highlight the peculiar moment, citing it as 'evidence' she is exaggerating the look of her bump. Other news outlets also weighed in, with The Washington Post calling it 'weird' while ABC News asks: 'Is Beyoncé's bump as big as she’d have us believe?'
